A spectacular West Coast USA tour along Highway 1
THE CHALLENGE
As with all recurring incentive programmes, our challenge was to outdo the previous year’s incentive trip; to raise the bar further.
Our task was to put in place an incentive programme that would motivate and inspire the sales team to blast through their targets. A key demand from our client was to deliver to them a programme that was different to anything that they had done before hence the creation of our Road Trip concept.
THE EXPERIENCE
TUESDAY: Flights arrived into Los Angeles airport and were followed by a private transfer to Santa Monica for dinner at The Penthouse and accommodation at the Huntley Hotel.
WEDNESDAY: The day started with a tour of the client’s iconic production facility followed by an afternoon at leisure with the day finishing off in style with dinner at Michael’s restaurant.
THURSDAY: After check-out, the guests got behind the wheel of one of ten waiting cars (from Mustangs to SUVs) to cruise north to the Four Seasons Biltmore Santa Barbara with a beautiful dinner at the Bella Vista Terrace overlooking the sea.
FRIDAY: Next stop on the self-drive itinerary was Monterey with a lunch stop at Paso Robles. Following some time to explore the delights of Monterey itself, dinner at Charthouse and accommodation at the Inn at Spanish Bay.
SATURDAY: The final stop of the road trip was San Francisco. Again, the itinerary allowed for time to explore this great city in the afternoon followed by a spectacular Gala Dinner at L’Avenue Boulevard and an overnight stay at the Four Seasons San Francisco.
MONDAY: For the final day of the itinerary, guests chose from a range of optional activities including a city tour, visit to Alcatraz etc. before lunch then heading to the airport for return flights.
