Super Incentive Dubai
Here at Gray Dawes Events we love what we do. So when one of our clients, a large multinational, approached us looking to run a super incentive for their staff, we couldn’t wait to get started. After many organisational challenges as a result of Covid, the event eventually took place in Dubai for a group of 39 attendees.
In the article below we outline the client brief and how we interpreted it, offering a range of options which met the client’s objectives for this event. We also reveal the meticulous planning which went into delivering the super incentive, ensuring the safety of the attendees and an experience to remember for all the right reasons!

Objective
Our client wanted to both motivate and reward their staff with a truly remarkable experience; one which would cement the loyalty of their staff to the client’s overall company goals. From our perspective, this meant devising and organising a super incentive; providing full project management behind a programme of memorable and entertaining events, running practical activities with an emphasis on delegate participation and creating dining experiences to give guests an authentic taste of Dubai.
Challenges
One of the biggest challenges we encountered during this event was communication. With regulations surrounding Covid-19 changing on a daily basis, ensuring that attendees were informed of the latest travel protocols and remained confident that they could attend the event safely was our number one priority.
By creating both a robust and flexible communication plan for pre, during and post-event, we ensured that all attendees knew exactly what processes and procedures they needed to follow at all times. This planning helped avoid any issues with tests, documentation and other restrictions related to travelling during a pandemic.
The Event
Following meticulous planning, we accompanied our client throughout. The event was managed on-site by our own Events Planner, Gary Pollitt, who joined the client at Manchester airport and helped guide them throughout the super incentive as they undertook the following activities:
- Outbound flight from Manchester airport
- Escape lounge
- Courtesy transfer to ACCOR hotel
- Burj Khalifa tour
- Yacht cruise
- Theatre in the evening
- Dubai Expo 2020
- Desert safari & camel riding
- Bedouin camp
- Restaurant and nightclub
- Inbound flight to Manchester Airport
Feedback
