We’ve compiled the latest information and measures Hotels and Serviced Apartments are taking to prevent and minimise the risk of the Coronavirus spreading during this difficult time.

Accor launches the Cleanliness & Prevention ALLSAFE label

Accor has been prioritizing the safety of its guests on a daily basis for more than 50 years, thanks to our high standards of hygiene and cleanliness applied by all our brands around the world. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and to ensure the safety of our clients and employees as hotels reopen, we have elevated those norms even further by launching a unique cleanliness and prevention label: ALLSAFE.”

Meliá Hotels International presents “Stay Safe with Meliá”, a Program Which Guarantees Stringent Post-COVID-19 Health and Safety Standards, in Collaboration with Bureau Veritas. Bureau Veritas, a company leader in inspection, certification and testing, will audit the Meliá Hotels International system with regard to the management of preventative measures to combat COVID-19 in its hotels. The company leverages its vast experience and global presence to launch an urgent plan to guarantee the safety of its employees and customers. Melia Hotels will modify their facilities and redesign many of their processes to reduce direct interaction and maintain hygiene standards and social distancing until the crisis is over. The certification process was expected to be completed during the month of May.

Jurys Inn hotels in the Republic of Ireland will open on the 29th June. We will continue to update the information on this page to ensure we keep our guests up to date with changes across the group. “Following guidance from the UK Government, to help contain the spread of Covid-19, Village Hotels is temporarily closed. Don’t worry, it won’t be forever! We are currently closed up to and including 3rd July 2020 (subject to change), but as soon as we get the OK from the Government, we’ll be back to business.”
