Building team spirit and setting annual goals

THE BRIEF

Intel471 wanted to bring together key managers and decision makers from across the world to set out their strategic goals and aims for 2022, as well as building team spirit. There would be 34 delegates coming from across various destinations, and the event needed to help bring them all together, provide the right environment to build team rapport and leave them feeling energised and ready to take on the year.

WHAT WE DID

Accommodation and conference options were sourced and presented to the client.  From these options, the Bahia del Duque Hotel was chosen.  Gray Dawes Events then went about sourcing and confirming flight options for the 34 individual passengers attending the event from all around the world. These ranged from economy to business class and were staggered arrival and departure dates, with some choosing to extend their stays. Once those were put in place, Gray Dawes Events liaised with ground transport providers to secure transfers to and from the airport. 

The Gray Dawes Event team was on the ground throughout the event to coordinate arrivals and departures, management of the rooming lists for check-in and check-out of the hotel, as well as ensuring that the conference space and facilities were all set up and functioning as per the clients requirements.  We also travelled ahead to all off-site restaurants chosen (Alisios, La Nonna, Beseme Mucho and Papagayo)  to ensure that they were set up and had correctly catered for all special meal requests, dietary requirements and allergies. 

For team building and to foster that friendly but competitive sales spirit, Gray Dawes Events organised a go-karting experience. The karting event proved to be a big success.  We were responsible for the organisation of the event, including transportation to and from the karting track, management of the group into teams, organisation of the individual races, and podium ceremonies and prizes for individual competitors and teams.

SUMMARY

The event was a big success with lots of positive feedback throughout from delegates and a special thank you email received from our main contact after the event. Intel471 continue to work closely with Gray Dawes Events and we look forward to putting together their next awesome experience!
